Rickmansworth and District Ukulele group (RADUC) started as an offshoot of the local U3A Ukulele beginners group in the summer of 2015. We met in the upstairs room of a Rickmansworth pub on a Wednesday evening a couple of times a month.

 The idea was for a group of mixed ages Ukulele players to meet and sing together, it wasn’t restricted to U3A members. Initially we collected our own list of songs but fairly quickly went on to use Jim Careys collection of Ukulele songs with its wide range of songs from many eras.  

We have performed at a number of Gigs and joined with other groups to play together. Over the years we have changed venue several times - not always in pubs! - and are a friendly group, playing and performing a wide selection of songs from 1920s to the 2020s.
